Location of Camping Zonneweelde
Camping Zonneweelde is a pleasant family camp site in Nieuwvliet-Bad, located 800 metres from a beautiful sandy beach on the North Sea. For years the beach of Nieuwvliet has been awarded with the Blue Flag; an exclusive eco-label and international environmental award for clean and safe beaches.
The park is not only right on the coast, but also close to many other seaside resorts such as Breskens, Groede and Cadzand and the historic towns of Sluis, Brugge (B) and Gent (B). There are also many beautiful cycling and walking routes.
Within walking distance of the camping site are, among others, the special nature reserves 'De verdronken zwarte polder' and 'Waterdunen'. Here, you can learn all about the interplay between water and land. It is a unique combination of nature, recreation and tidal work, with innovative coastal reinforcement as the main objective.
